Well, it's been a little while hasn't it?
Too long I think! I'm going to do my best to start blogging, as a record of my journey in knitting. Soon, I will do a post about the projects I have finished since I last posted. So, um, all of them? Any way.
I've got a few new tools I will be showing you too, most so far unused, including a set of the Large Hiya Hiya interchangeable needles. <3

Knitted Wedding Dress
I had hoped that my next post would be one of those fancy FO ones... but I'm too slow. The fancy FO post shall have to wait.
Today, I will share this article with you: Thrifty bride KNITS her own dress and hunts out crockery from charity shops for £5,000 recession wedding
Isn't it stunning? I'm following a thread on Ravelry where there are discussions on the pattern, but the maker has chimed in and said that it's a pattern she's made herself and made up as she went along. I can barely even imagine the amount of work that has gone into this, but there's one thing I think we can all agree on... this took a lot more than the 300g of yarn that the Daily Mail claim it was made from ;)

An Introduction (Of Sorts)
Well, welcome to my blog!
I have been lurking around in a few online knititng circles since January perhaps, and have finally taken the leap into blogging! Please wish me luck.
Since January, despite very good intentions, I have not actually done very much knitting at all. I have completed exactly two scarves, begun another (maybe two? or three?), as well as a hat and a baby blanket. I already have procrastination well under my belt.
As a short introduction: I am 23 years old, in a perpetual career crisis, a long-term relationship with a lovely man who will wear my slightly wonky scarves. I have great aspirations, but these often get forgotten between naps and difficult shft patterns.
